Bio

KAIRA, a 6-piece progressive doom metal group from Helsinki, Finland, released their latest EP “Viimeinen Valo” on August 25, 2023. The EP features 4 tracks of atmospheric, genre-bending metal including their recently released single “Vanki.”Formed in 2020, Kaira consists of experienced musicians, composers and lyricists who sought to create their own unique brand of progressive metal. Their music incorporates doom, death and black metal influences with ambient atmospheres, melodic grooves and mesmerising breakdowns.
